Zenit-C (S) is very a compact SLR, which has two alternative lens as origin. The fixing is 39 mm Leica thread. In this case it has bigger lens, Helios 2/58, better known in later models. Work quality is good and it's very pretty, small compared to any similar western and far east item. The body has borrowed from some russian fake Leica - you can notice similarity to Fed 1F below on this page. It's very pure russian design, although base concept is well known.

If you are in need of more lenses, I think there is a reasonably priced set available.

This post is regretfully overdue. I have neglected this journal and its project. My whereabouts have been known and yet not as widely documented as it has been in the past. I must note similarly the same of others. My holidays were wonderful as they have been in the past few years, and I must send my thanks to those that I had the opportunity to spend time with at the ski lodge again this year. I am making great use of the presents given to me as well. Studies are as they should be, practice continues above expectation, and that is all currently that I wish to report.
